Bethesda Softworks unleashes new debut trailer – Dishonored

Beautiful doesn’t even begin to describe the new IP title coming to us from the creators of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

This guy sure looks like he's been "Dishonored". Title pun.

Published by Bethesda Softworks and under development by Arkane Studios, Dishonored puts you in the shoes of Corvo, once a legendary guard for The Empress, now imprisoned for being framed by Lord Regent for the assassination of the very Empress he was protecting.

Dishonored was announced long before the release of Bethesda’s most recent best seller, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and more recently, the image above recently surfaced, leading many news outlets, including Gamesradar, to believe that this would be new Skyrim DLC.

As exciting as the trailer appears, you’ll be glad to know that an elite team of developers are behind the project, and the game looks to have an impressive edge with its steampunk-mech-assassin-action RPG style gameplay. According to computersandvideogames.com, Harvey Smith (Deus Ex) and Raphaël Colantonio (BioShock 2) are the lead designers behind the project, with the assistance of Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2).

The game looks to provide everything a player needs from a stealth-action game and more, including a killer outfit, jaw-dropping graphics, stop-time effects, magic abilities, and a deep, dark narrative that looks to impress.
