Soundgarden to release first new album in 16 years, “King Animal”

Its been 16 years since the 90s grunge quartet that is Seattle’s Soundgarden released an album.

1996′s Down on the Upside, which featured stand-out hits like “Pretty Noose”, “Burden in my Hand” and “Blow Up the Outside World”, was the last we would see from the band for more than a decade.

That is until the band’s reunion during the year 2010, where they released a compilation album, “Telephantasm: A Retrospective”, and more recently, we saw their name tied to the recent Avengers film with their single, “Live to Rise”.

“King Animal” is the name of their latest album, which is set for release on Nov. 13 this year.

The band’s first single off the album, “Been Away Too Long”, is set for release on Wed. Sep. 19, and like the title says, they have been away for far too long. But now, they’re back.

Red vs Blue Season 10 arrives on Monday

A pretty wicked CGI-clip from the trailer, showing a firefight in the sky, where the Freelancer ship, Mother of Invention, seems to be caught in the crossfires.

So in light of Red vs Blue’s memorial day launch this coming Monday, the guys from Rooster Teeth decided to provide a little treat for the fans, giving them a new trailer.

This trailer debuted yesterday on redvsblue.com, but you can catch it here on their Youtube Channel, “RoosterTeeth”.

Here’s the new trailer, which features a lot more CGI-clips from the Freelancer backstory saga, and maybe only a few short clips from the actual Red vs Blue we know and love. Enjoy.
